About Us
BSA Troop 888 was formed in 1971 within the Timberline District and works with local area youth from grades 5-12. The Troop is spearheaded by experienced and veteran scout leaders and the support of the Denver Area Council, parents and volunteers. The Troop is proud to provide rigorous yet enjoyable programs and camping experiences, and many of the scouts have earned their Eagle Scout badges.
The Troop meets at 7:00 PM on Tuesday evenings at the Lutheran Church of the Cross [Google Map] on 28253 Meadow Dr., Evergreen, CO 80439.

Mission: To prepare young people to make ethical and moral choices over their lifetimes by instilling in them the values of the Scout Oath and Law.
Oath: On my honor I will do my best to do my duty to God and my country and to obey the Scout Law; To help other people at all times; To keep myself physically strong, mentally awake, and morally straight.
Law: A scout is Trustworthy, Loyal, Helpful, Friendly, Courteous, Kind, Obedient, Cheerful, Thrifty, Brave, Clean, and Reverent.
Troop 888 is part of the Timberline District of the Denver Area Council.
